About Intelligent Canine

Research-based training downtown

Intelligent Canine is a dog training team at 602 Charles Street in Billings, describing itself as a collection of humans and canines invested in its clients' success. It designs training exercises around how each dog likes to experience new things, helping dog and owner build new skills and polish old ones.

Approach and services

The team says there is no secret, only proven methods based on decades of research, clear communication and reasonable expectations. It keeps studying canine behavior and health, training methodology and current research, and uses only methods it considers proven to give lifelong results across dog personalities and owner lifestyles. Services cover young dogs starting basic obedience, middle-aged dogs with undesirable habits and elderly dogs facing blindness or limited mobility, and there is a Puppy Academy. New clients are encouraged to attend a human-only orientation first.

What to ask

Ask about orientation dates, Puppy Academy enrollment and pricing for each program.
