About Jaeger Scent Training
What they offer
Jaeger Scent Training teaches K9 Nosework scent training in Lynden. The site describes nose work as confidence building for the dog, enjoyable for the handler, and portable: a leash, food reward, target odor and a few boxes are enough to train almost anywhere.
Classes
Foundations 101, Intro to Nosework, is an eight-week course where dogs learn to search for a food reward, starting with cardboard boxes that are moved and arranged into puzzles as skills grow, while handlers learn leash handling and how to read their dog. Foundations 102, Intro to Odor, introduces birch, the first odor used in National Association of Canine Scent Work trials.
