About Jordan Valley Retrievers

Retriever training near downtown Dallas

Jordan Valley Retrievers is an all-breed obedience and boarding kennel in Dallas, located minutes from downtown. It specializes in training hunting dogs for a lifetime of enjoyment and also offers all-breed obedience training, with the aim of training dogs to be the champions they are bred to be while keeping the personality of a good companion.

Training levels

The hunting curriculum runs as Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Hunting Programs. A dog advances through the levels according to its mastery of each level's foundation skills and must complete the earlier level before moving on. The kennel has trained Championship Hunting Retrievers over the years and occasionally offers trained dogs for sale.

Boarding

Boarding is open to all breeds, in spacious kennels inside a 5,000 square foot building.

What owners say

Clients credit trainer Eddie Hicks with their dogs' results. One wrote that "my dogs have completed three HRCH and MH titles under Eddie's guidance," and another that he "has trained three dogs for me and brought them to an exceptional level of performance."
