About K-9 University

A Douglas dog school

K-9 University is a dog training business in Douglas, Central Massachusetts, with a mailing address at 35 Pond Street. It styles itself as a school, with sections on its faculty, its students and alumni, student services, an "Ask the Professor" column and a dog tip of the week. Owners can call (508) 476-2520 or email K9UK9U@aol.com, and its contact form asks for each dog's name, breed and age, any specific concerns, and the best time of day to reach the owner.

What to ask

Ask which training programs are offered, whether training takes place at a facility or at your home, how the trainers approach teaching, whether hidden fence training is part of the work, and what programs cost.
