About K.C K.9

K.C K9 Dog Training Academy

K.C K.9, which posts as K.C K9 Dog Training Academy, is a Bedford dog trainer at 15 Gould Rd, rated 5 from 5 Google reviews. Its updates follow dogs through board and train stays: Hobbs worked on solid obedience, excitement nipping and basic manners in his first week, and Mango gained confidence before heading into public places for socialization.

How it trains

Early sessions lean on luring and interaction; once a dog understands verbal commands, the trainer introduces pressure and moves to a prong collar. The academy also teaches dogs to "do nothing," which it says builds calmness and self-control and reduces overstimulation. It works with reactive dogs too, including a five-year-old beagle with a bite history, and with fearful dogs that need time to learn that structure is not a threat. For puppies, it stresses always rewarding a dog for coming when called.
