We started with our crazy puppy here at K9 Manners Matter with Michelle. We started in Puppy 1, went to Puppy 2, both obedience classes, Canine Good Citizen, and Tricks. Our dog is so well behaved now. Michelle has a gift that's for sure! I also enjoy the smaller class size compared to other locations I have been too. Before Michelle, we were so frustrated with our (very stubborn) 1 year old Bernamute, Artie. We signed up for 4 sessions with Michelle and after the first one it was like we had a different dog. Michelle was amazing with Artie and provided us with perfect guidance on training him. She helped us get rid of a lot of bad behaviors we had seen for months. This dog is 120 pounds and I can take him on walks by myself and get him to listen to me. I never dreamed that would be possible. Thanks to what my fiancé and I learned from Michelle, it feels like we finally have a normal life with a dog we adore. This is a wonderful dog trainer that teaches owners how to communicate with their pups to build better relationships through positive reinforcement. Through her kind and creative instruction we have been able to transition an anxious rescue into a confident and bonded family member. Every time we got stuck on a behavior or skill Michelle was able to offer modification and suggestions to help person and pup be successful. I can’t say enough great things about this resource.
