About K9 OTC

K9 OTC works from 478 Forkwood Way in Powder Springs and says it has been "training dogs and coaching pet parents since 1999". Its own numbers are 35+ years of combined training experience and 22 police departments served.

Four strands

The published offer is split four ways. Family Pet Dog Training runs from puppy foundations to off-leash reliability, and the business says every program "trains your dog and coaches you, so the results hold at home and in public". Working Dogs covers personal protection and detection. Police K9 Teams covers POST certified training for departments, maintenance plans, recertification and new handler courses in narcotics and explosive detection. Service Dogs covers public-access work, training the handler alongside the dog.

Method and framing

The site's diagnosis is consistent: "Most of the dogs we see are not bad dogs. They are dogs without clear leadership. That is fixable." It names the situations owners bring — a dog that drags them down the street, that loses it when another dog passes, that ignores them the moment there is a distraction, and training that fell apart outside the living room. A free transformation session is the published entry point, and lifetime support is advertised on qualifying programs.
