What they offer

K9 Pawsitive Training works with owners across the Bakersfield area, conditioning both dog and owner for the behaviors they want. New clients can start with an evaluation session of up to an hour and a half.

Programs

Basic obedience for dogs from three months covers sit, down, place, stay, leave it and come, crate and leash training, house breaking and an introduction to socialization. Advanced obedience from five months adds commands around distractions, loose-leash walking, impulse control and off-leash control with an e-collar, through private sessions or board and train.

Behavior modification

A dedicated program helps dogs with serious issues such as possessiveness, aggression, insecurity, fear and reactivity on or off leash.
