About Kat's Dog Training

Kat's Dog Training is a one-page site for a private training service. Its tagline places it geographically: "Serving the Kansas City Northland and surrounding areas. Results that last!" The trainer introduces herself directly – "Hello! My name is Katie, I’m passionate about helping build a relationship of trust and respect between you and your pet."

What is offered

Two services are listed: private training, and basic obedience and manners training. The scope is narrower than most: the site says: "I offer private leadership training as well as simple command training for both puppies and adolescent dogs ( ages 4 mos – 2 years old)", and the about section repeats the age range, "We train dogs from 4 months to 2 years of age", with leash walking, sit and stay among the commands named.

Method as described

The method section is headed "Force-Free, Science-Based Training" and says "At Kat’s Dog Training, we try to remain on the cutting edge of animal behavioral science", but the sentence that follows describes "the most effective correction based training". The two statements sit side by side on the page, so an owner with a strong preference either way should ask before booking.

Contact

The site gives katsdogtraining@yahoo.com and 605-940-5360, and asks prospective clients to call or text. No street address, prices or certifications appear on it.
