About Kenai Kennel Club

Dog club in Kenai

Kenai Kennel Club is a dog club in Kenai that was formed in April 1970 by a group of people with a great deal of love for dogs. Its primary objective is the education of the public for the betterment of purebred dogs. The club meets at its space at the far end of the Kenai Shopping Center on the Kenai Spur Highway, entered through the brown door at the back of the mall, and general membership meetings are held there at 6:00 pm on the first Tuesday of every month.

Training classes

The club runs training classes in Puppy Kindergarten, Obedience, Rally, Agility, Canine Good Citizen and Conformation, posted on its club calendar. It also keeps a member-breeders referral list and tips for buying a purebred dog.

What to ask

Ask about upcoming class dates, class fees, who instructs and whether membership is needed to join a class.
