Koda's Classroom is a Provo dog trainer offering personalized, reward-based behavior and obedience training for dogs and owners across Utah County and Salt Lake County. Trainer Kirsty Wyckoff brings 15+ years of hands-on experience, formal education in zoology, animal sciences, psychology and sociology, and ongoing coursework through programs like Recallers and Obsidian Academy. The business is named for Koda, the dog she trained as her own service dog.

Method

Every session is built on positive reinforcement, patience and guidance. Behavior modification works from the root cause with counter conditioning, desensitization and confidence building, and starts with a mandatory in-home visit.

Services and prices

Foundational obedience is $95 per session and intermediate obedience is $115, after a free 30-minute pre-consult. Psychiatric service dog task training is $155 per session. Trainer Dates, where the trainer takes the dog on walks and outings, run $105 to $150 per hour, and virtual sessions are $75 per hour. Behavior modification is priced after assessment. On-site AKC testing includes Canine Good Citizen ($20 for clients, $40 for others), Urban CGC and Trick Dog. Day stays ($75 half day, $115 full day) and boarding are for clients with five or more private sessions, and group classes and grooming are offered.
