About LARPBO Los Angeles Responsible Pit Bull Owners

What they offer

Los Angeles Responsible Pit Bull Owners is a nonprofit, established in 2011, that runs affordable group training classes and community pack walks for dogs of every breed, including dogs that are shy, selective or reactive. It also advocates for pit bulls and other bully breeds.

Classes and walks

Group classes teach owners to communicate with their dogs in a safe environment, and the organization schedules AKC training classes. Bi-weekly pack walks at Sherman Oaks Park let dogs practice engagement and neutrality around real-world distractions without the pressure of meeting other dogs.

Scholarships

Through its shelter and rescue intervention scholarships, recent adopters and fosters of Los Angeles Animal Services dogs can receive free classes.
