We are so happy with our experience with Long Road Canine Training! Kelsi does an amazing job training, communicating and answering all of our questions. Our sweet (but very excitable) Honey came back home after training with so much improvement! Not only does she know commands which help with daily life (and are very cool lol) but she has overall better respect and manners towards our family. You can watch her brain remembering she’s not to jump or play too rough with my little ones, even when she’s really excited and wants to. We are so impressed with what Kelsi was able to teach her. Additionally, during Honey’s initial visit we found out she had some health issues and Kelsi was so compassionate and understanding when we had to pause the training until Honey was well. She truly puts the diva and their wellbeing above all else. We’re so thankful for all you’ve done and genuinely are enjoying having our sweet girl as a part of our family even more after working with you!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Kelsi and cannot recommend her enough! She helped our very timid and shy dog grow by leaps and bounds. From the very beginning, you could tell how much she truly loves dogs. She is incredibly patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in each dog’s progress.

We even had our dog stay with her for two afternoons, and she kept us updated throughout the day with photos and texts, which gave us so much peace of mind. It meant the world to know our pup was in such caring and capable hands.

Even after our sessions ended, Kelsi has continued to check in and stay updated on our dog’s accomplishments. That level of care and commitment really sets her apart.

We could not be happier with the progress our dog has made and the goals we were able to achieve. If we ever need boarding in the future, Kelsi will be the first — and only — person we call!

I can't believe the difference in my dog after only a few sessions with Kelsi. She has so much more freedom now and responds to cues with enthusiasm and happiness. Kelsi is kind and patient with both dog and owner and understands dogs and behavior. I'd recommend her to anyone!

We loved our pup before we trained with Kelsi, but now we truly ENJOY him! She was patient and encouraging while training "both ends of the leash." I boarded my Shipoo and deaf Pit mix with Kelsi for 8 days while on vacation. First, let me say from the moment you meet Kelsi, you will see that she is the kindest soul who has a true love for animals. I never once had to worry about my dogs while gone. Kelsi made sure to send me either a photo or video everyday and kept me updated on their wellbeing. They looked like they were having so much fun in the videos, my only fear was that they wouldn't want to come home! 🙂 Kelsi made sure that they were clean and ready to come home when we got back. She even brought the dogs back to my house when our flight was cancelled and it took us several extra hours to get home. I will certainly use Kelsi every time I need a pet sitter and would highly recommend her!
