About Los Alamos Dog Obedience Club

What they offer

Los Alamos Dog Obedience Club is a non-profit training organization that has offered dog training classes to the Los Alamos community since 1951. Classes help owners train an obedient family pet and include formal obedience, rally, Canine Good Citizen, trick dog and nose work, along with seminars and special evenings.

How classes run

Classes run in sessions with a registration period, and spaces fill in the order registrations arrive. Registration can be done online or by mail, and the club keeps a newsletter list for upcoming class announcements.

About the club

The club is located next door to the animal shelter on East Road. Its members and trainers take part in many dog sports, including obedience, tracking, herding, dock diving, rally, agility, barn hunt, lure coursing and nose work.
