Maximum Canine – trading online as Maximum K9 Services – occupies 1011 Grand Blvd in Deer Park and describes itself as a 'Wellness & Training Center'. Its own header names two sites, 'Deer Park & Riverhead', the second of which it explains as a recent addition: 'Maximum Canine is now at Hydrant Pet Hotel in Riverhead. We are now booking our Private Dog Training and Board and Train Programs at our additional training facility.' Everything starts, as the site repeats on every page, with a training evaluation.

Programs

The training menu is set out as four distinct products: group classes, private dog training, board and train, and a longer 'Pinnacle' board and train. The site also publishes a training FAQ and a certifications page. Reviews on the site describe multi-week behavior-modification stays – one owner writes about a six-week program for a standard poodle who 'wouldn't do well on walks when we saw most people and she would lunge and bark at other dogs' – so the residential work is aimed squarely at reactivity as well as obedience.
