About Metro Dog

What they offer

Metro Dog is a daycare, boarding, grooming and training center next to Point Isabel Regional Shoreline in Richmond. Its dog training builds confidence and reliable behaviors through structured, positive-reinforcement training with experienced trainers.

Programs

Play and Train combines supervised play, foundational obedience and guided socialization. Stay and Train programs provide immersive training during extended stays. Programs run 15, 20 or 25 days, depending on the dog's needs, and cover puppies and adult dogs, from housebreaking and biting to leash pulling, reactivity and impulse control.

Approach

Programs follow LIMA principles (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) and avoid squirt bottles, shaker cans and collar corrections.
