About Nahla Stay Dog Training
What they offer
Nahla Stay Dog Training is a relationship-based dog trainer at 2821 Sally Ann Dr in Loveland. It helps with reactivity, difficult walks, puppy behavior, public outings including vet visits, jumping, barking, obedience and door manners. Day training is a same-day drop-off and pick-up program with a guided owner session every second day and a follow-up session afterward. One-on-one sessions of 45 minutes to an hour let you take the leash yourself. Both start with a foundational program covering leash pressure, polite walking, place, boundaries and engagement games.
How they train
The site says Nahla-Stay uses balanced training methods, giving dogs clear "Yes-do this" and "No-don't do that" instructions with a focus on positive reinforcement. Owner and trainer Katie Henneman is also an occupational therapist, which the site says helps her adapt techniques to owners of any physical ability.
Good to know
Cities served include Estes Park, Longmont, Berthoud, Loveland, Fort Collins, Greeley, Severance and Timnath. Dogs must be crate trained before day training, which has a two-day minimum. The FAQ says it does not have space for board and train and can refer you to other trainers. A free consultation call is available.
