About Norris Stockdogs

What they offer

Norris Stockdogs is a stockdog trainer, Austin, who trains and trials herding dogs of all herding breeds with a focus on Border Collies, and has trial experience in USBCHA, AKC, AHBA and MSSA venues.

Lessons

Training starts with instinct testing to see how a dog responds to livestock and where to begin. Hands-on lessons follow for first-time handlers and experienced working dogs, with one-on-one coaching paced to the dog's natural ability and the handler's goals, and can be booked weekly, every two weeks or monthly.

Who it suits

The program is aimed at high-energy herding breeds that need real work, especially dogs that nip heels, try to herd children or stay restless without a job.
