I signed my dog, Boots, up for the 8 day training. He would be with Kyla during the day then I’d pick him up in the evening. Boots is 7 years old and has pretty intense anxiety around other dogs and people. Due to some of my own prior experiences with other dogs, I also struggled with becoming anxious in situation where Boots would show reactive behavior, making him more tense. Kyla helped me and Boots during his training. She taught me how to be more confident in myself and how to reassure Boots that he was safe as well. Kyla was extremely flexible, even meeting me multiple times at a park with my kids to work with Boots together so I could learn even more. While it’ll definitely take time to eliminate Boots’ reactive behaviors, I’ve noticed it is already easier to distract him and get him to “move on” from whatever caught his attention whereas before training, he would have his hair up and be barking for multiple minutes even after the trigger was gone. I’ve also noticed a huge reduction in Boots’ reactive behavior when he sees a person (without a dog). We are still working on when he sees other dogs, but thanks to Kyla I feel confident that I have the tools/strategies to continue to teach Boots’ better ways.
In addition to working on the reactive behaviors in Boots, Kyla also worked with him on his leash pulling tendencies. I have seen drastic changes with his pulling, if he does pull I now only need to correct him once and he is back to walking next to me again.
I am thankful to Kyla for teaching both Boots and I during this whole process and I highly recommend working with her!

Kyla was extremely kind, accommodating with my crazy schedule, fairly priced, and took great care of my dog. I have noticed a huge improvement in my dog’s behavior. Kyla worked with my dog on eliminating jumping and improving recall. My dog’s jumping is almost completely fixed and her recall is much better. Kyla also gave me some things to practice to continue my dog’s training.

Kyla is so incredible at what she does, she talked us through everything and explained everything so well! She’s so kind to us and our pup! We will definitely going back in the future for her board and training. I trust her 100 percent with my dog! 10/10 recommend 🙂
