Training alongside daycare in Sherwood

Pawsh Park, pronounced "Posh Park", runs dog daycare, boarding and training programs in Sherwood and Maumelle. It is owned and operated by local pet lover Kevin Miller, who opened it as the high-quality alternative he wanted for his own dogs. Daycare dogs have free but fully supervised roam of play ramps, tunnels, pools and playground equipment, on pet-specific turf yards.

Play & Train

For owners who want training without an overnight stay, Play & Train combines a day of daycare with one-on-one sessions with a trainer, multiple sessions each day, in between playtimes. Training covers the core obedience commands of sit, stay, come, lay down and wait, along with common problems like leash pulling, impulse control and jumping on people. Many programs include take-home resources and ongoing support.

Getting started

New training dogs start with a Meet & Greet, and Pawsh Park offers a Free Training Evaluation, a one-on-one meeting with its training team to discuss goals and build a customized plan. Dogs must be current on rabies, distemper combo and Bordetella vaccinations.
