Winston came into our lives with a lot of baggage from being in a kill shelter in Tennessee and then the journey to Ohio and not having a lot of information about his early years and exposure to socialization with other animals. My good friend recommended I contact Amanda after struggling with Winston's out-of-his-mind reaction when seeing another dog. Amanda responded right away and gave me direction and a plan on how to handle "detoxing" Winston from those responses by closing blinds on windows he could see out of to work on getting Winston to respond to commands/clicking/treating (filling Winston's bank rewarding positive behaviors and ignoring negative ones). Amanda was always positive, supportive and educating me on what Winston's behaviors might mean and how to work with getting the behaviors we wanted from him. Amanda responded quickly with any questions or concerns I had between training sessions and sent a detailed description of the homework Winston and I were to work on between sessions which was a blessing because I felt really overwhelmed in the beginning. I must have read and reread those emails and texts a hundred times, reassuring me that we were going to be OK. Winston has made a lot of progress in the 3 months we've been working with Amanda and I look forward to all our sessions because I learn so much about what might be behind some of the behaviors Winston exhibits. I highly recommend Amanda to anyone who is feeling overwhelmed by wanting to change your pets behaviors but don't know how to make lasting change happen…Winston and I owe our calmer selves and the bonding we've experienced through trainings with Amanda!

Amanda was incredibly helpful and supportive in training my dog! She taught me the basics of click training and then how to translate those skills to other harder tasks for my dog to do. She made it so easy to learn and was with me every step of the way! I can’t recommend her enough!
