I came to Providing Pawsable after a very rough experience with a local trainer of mine. From day Rebekah was knowledgeable and professional. She helped me look at the breeder I was planning on going to and made sure she was the right fit. After that we had two follow up sessions before bringing home my puppy to go over everything that was needed. My service dog in training is now seven months old and is doing amazing thanks to Rebekah's help and guidance, she has been nothing but encouraging and helpful when it came to training. She truly cares about our progress and is always willing to answer questions. She has a strong background especially in scent training and is always taking new courses to better her knowledge, something that is truly admirable especially in the unregulated dog training world! Would 100% recommend to anyone who needs help training a service dog.

Providing Pawsable is hands down my favorite training organization to work with. The staff are all incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and they really care about helping service dogs and their handlers be as successful as they possibly can be. Rebekah, the head trainer, was really able to provide me and my dog with the specialized and individualized attention and training plan that we needed. Because of her help, Tesla has been able to work on and learn tasks are literally changing my life. I am honestly constantly recommending PP to all my fellow handlers!

Rebeka has been working with us since we brought home our female Doberman (Mazi) April 15th. She’s done absolute wonders for Mazi and us as pup parents. Mazi is turning into quite the well rounded well behaved little girl. Because of this, we decided to add to the pack & adopt a 4 year old Doberman who was surrendered back to the breeder. Rebekah has been there for every step of the way, answering every text, call, and taking the time to work with each pup individually while providing us guidance on what to do when she’s not there to encourage a strong bond between the two of them. We love every session & learn something new every week. We are SO thankful for Providing Pawsable & recommend her to every pup parent we meet. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

EDIT: 2 year update below dotted line

I love Providing Pawsable! The head trainer, Rebekah, is so knowledgeable and professional, and she has been incredibly helpful and supportive of me during every step of my service dog journey. I reached out to Providing Pawsable before I even got my prospect, just looking for some expert guidance. I had a million questions about puppy raising, public access, and task training, and Rebekah gave me so much helpful information. My SDiT, Aura, and I have had a couple virtual sessions with her to touch base about Aura’s progress, work through any issues, and learn new tasks. These sessions are so helpful, and Aura and I both learn a lot. I am so grateful for Providing Pawsable, and I look forward to continuing to work with this incredible organization and have more sessions as Aura keeps learning and growing. Eventually, Aura will do a board and train at Providing Pawsable for a few months. It’s a big deal to hand your dog over to someone and entrust them to train and care for the animal you’ve given so much time and energy, but I have no reservations about sending Aura to Providing Pawsable because of how capable and dedicated they are to all the dogs they train. I’m so glad Aura and I have the opportunity to work with such a great organization! Having a service dog is truly life-changing, and it’s something that wouldn’t have been possible for me without Providing Pawsable.

2 years later: Aura has now had 2 board and trains at Providing Pawsable, one for 6 weeks and one for 4 weeks. First of all, I was vert grateful for Rebekah's flexibility and willingness to work with me regarding scheduling. I was also really impressed with her flexibility regarding training and expectations for my dog. Aura went into heat and consequently had some pretty major temperament changes during her first B&T, and Rebekah took it all in stride. She handled the bleeding and the lack of motivation and kept Aura safe, loved, and cared for during a non-ideal time. She never rushed her or pushed her to train when she wasn't ready (because of how she gets when in heat). Instead, Rebekah made her feel comfortable and prioritized Aura's well-being above all else. Because of Aura's heat, she didn't get as much training or as many outings as I has hoped while at Providing Pawsable. However, by working with Aura where she was and staying within the threshold of what she could tolerate, Rebekah made sure that the training she did do was meaningful and lasting. And indeed it was. The skills Aura worked on during that first B&T were crucial for the rest of her training, and it laid the foundation for lots of advanced public access training and impulse control that we worked on later. After her time with Providing Pawsable, I noticed a shift in Aura. That's when she really started transitioning from service dog in training to service dog.

The second B&T yielded more immediate results. Rebekah exposed Aura to all kinds of environments and distractions and gave her lots of opportunities to learn and generalize her skills to novel, more difficult contexts. After this stay with Rebekah, Aura was more focused, disciplined, and confident. She also earned her CGCA, thanks to Rebekah evaluating her!

During both B&Ts, Aura was incredibly loved and treated like family. She bonded with Rebekah and Michael and was so happy with them. Communication with me was good, and I loved getting pictures and updates. I am 100% confident my dog was in good hands! She had fun and learned a lot.

The progress Aura has made with Providing Pawsable has lasted and helped her become a life-changing service dog. Because of Providing Pawsable, I have a capable and confident service dog. Aura has been to the zoo, movie theater, restaurants, ceremonies, sporting events, professional theater, about 20 flights, all kinds of stores, and so many more places. Most recently, she has begun accompanying me to medical school.

I'm so proud of my service dog and so thankful to Providing Pawsable for training her and changing my life!

I strongly recommend Providing Pawsable and Rebekah! I love that she offered flexible scheduling and was able to do training in our home. We adopted our dogs, Lily and Fern, from a puppy mill rescue. Both dogs were already adults, but neither had been well-socialized, so we needed a lot of help with building trust, leash training, and establishing a routine. Rebekah was so loving and patient with our dogs and she offered good advice that we were able to implement. After working with Providing Pawsable, we feel much more confident that we will be able to help our dogs lead happy lives.
