Dog psychology on a Sealy ranch

Pupsties is a family-owned dog psychology, training and boarding business in Sealy, on a 5-acre ranch about 30 minutes west of Houston. It was established in 2021 by founder Alejandro Romero, an oil and gas industry veteran who rehabilitated his own rescued dogs, including a boxer's aggression and another boxer's anxiety. The name was chosen by his children.

Approach

Pupsties focuses on calm, balanced training and puts a dog's needs and perspective first, concentrating on dog psychology rather than obedience school. Training is personalized around communication, trust and understanding behavior, and the business says there is always hope to modify a dog's behavior no matter its age or past.

Boarding

Boarding on the ranch offers outdoor space, structured care and indoor air conditioning, with holiday boarding for Houston-area families.
