About Raney Ranch Retrievers

What they offer

Raney Ranch Retrievers is a Labrador retriever training and breeding facility on 150 acres in the back country of San Diego County, overlooking Lake Henshaw. The ranch trains six days a week and puts together a mock hunt test every week.

Training programs

Training grounds and ponds let the trainers work a retriever at any level: puppy head start, obedience, conditioning, started and finished gun dog training, and every level of hunt test. The ranch also hosts rattlesnake avoidance clinics.

Good to know

The facility breeds Labradors for hunt tests and field work and offers trained gun dogs. Call to ask about training availability and how long a program runs.
