About Ridgeside K9 NorCal

About

Ridgeside K9 NorCal is based in Chico and describes itself as a team of balanced trainers with experience across dogs of all types. It says it has over 20 years of experience and has trained thousands of dogs, and it serves Chico and the wider Northern California region.

Approach

Training starts with an evaluation and a conversation with the owner, to understand what motivates the dog to learn. The trainers then build a regimen that fits the dog into the family and teach owners to communicate with their dog for life. The site lists experience with human aggression, dog aggression, insecurity, separation anxiety and leash reactivity, and names board and train, puppy training and obedience training among its programs. Consultations are free.
