About Rocky Mountain Kennels

Home of the Wesslpointer

Rocky Mountain Kennels in Caldwell is the home of the Wesslpointer, which it describes as America's versatile gun dog. The breed blends three American lines of traditional European gun dogs and is described as having stylish upland points, bold water entries, soft-mouth retrieves and an affectionate family temperament, with a dense, water-repelling coat for most weather. The kennel offers puppies and gun dogs, and a book on the breeding of the Wesslpointer was published in 2011.
