About Savvy K9 Dog Training

What they do

Savvy K9 is an Atlanta-area trainer offering balanced dog training, board and train, and pet sitting. Board and train takes place in a home rather than a kennel: the dog lives with the trainer and gets daily structured sessions, real-world exposure and socialization, with pricing set after an initial evaluation. One-on-one training covers foundational obedience and manners, leash reactivity and impulse control, behavioral modification and owner handling skills. Pet sitting is drop-in visits and overnight care in the dog's own home.

The approach

The site describes its method as "combining positive reinforcement with structured tools like eCollar training and leash pressure", and says it works with dogs with bite histories. Owner education is part of every program, including hands-on transfer sessions at the end of board and train.
