About South Paws Dog Resort
What they do
South Paws Dog Resort runs four things from one site in Statesboro – training, boarding, daycare and grooming – and is unusually specific about what its training actually covers. Their FAQ answers the question directly: the six-week classes teach "sit, down, stay, walking loosely on a leash, come when called, waiting at door ways, place, leave it, and off." The service description adds that their trainers work "to teach obedience and good manners based on your dogs needs."
Boarding, daycare and grooming
Boarding is described as comfortable bedding, regular walks and individual attention; daycare is supervised group play, and the site says there is no extra daycare charge for dogs that are already boarding. Grooming covers baths, nail trims and ear cleaning, with full haircut services listed as still to be established. Dogs that do not get on with other dogs are not required to join group daycare.
Before you book
Rabies, distemper/parvo and bordetella vaccinations are required for any service. Bring your dog's own food for a boarding stay.
