About Summer’s Dogs
What they offer
Summer's Dogs is a new 501c3 nonprofit in Arkansas that provides, breeds and trains task-trained service dogs for disabled people, specializing in autism and PTSD tasks. It also trains therapy dogs and offers obedience training for pet dogs, and says pet training helps fund a future service dog.
How they train
The site says its methods focus on encouraging behaviors, which suits dogs with high food or toy drive, and that support continues between lessons with at-home issues such as house training.
What they can help with
Service Dog Training
Task training and public-access work for service-dog candidates.
Therapy Dog Training
Prep to visit hospitals, schools and care homes as a certified therapy dog.
Sit, stay, recall and reliable commands, from beginner to advanced.
