About Swan Dog Training

A training ranch in Myakka City

Swan Family Dog Training is a relationship-based dog training business with a six-and-a-half-acre ranch in Myakka City and a Sarasota address at 2075 Main Street. Its ranch has trails, fields, multiple fenced yards and an indoor training facility. The business describes a unique three-step training system meant to deliver a confident, respectful dog that can walk nicely, respect boundaries at home and join errands and vacations without stress.

Programs

Board and Train programs immerse dogs in a daily schedule of exercise, walks, working for meals, playtime, training sessions and the occasional field trip for distraction work. Puppy training comes in several options to give owners a plan for raising a young dog. A five-day program has been used for goals such as loose-leash walking and staying off furniture. After training, the team stays available for maintenance training and offers boarding to clients when they leave town.
