About Temple Of The Dog LLC
One trainer, one-on-one
Temple of the Dog is an Amarillo dog training service run by Randy, the sole trainer and owner. He works with new puppy owners and with dogs that have reactive or challenging behaviors, using what the business calls proven positive reinforcement techniques to build reliability, control and safety in a structured, supportive environment.
Programs
The 2-week board-and-train program has a dog live with Randy in his home for 14 days, training one-on-one in obedience and structure. Private lessons focus on sit, down, place and heel with a strong emphasis on recall, and the business states that it achieves 100% recall reliability. Behavior Modification is aimed at aggression and reactivity, teaching dogs to work through triggers and showing owners how to maintain progress. Dogs that complete a board and train or private lessons can use an exclusive boarding program in the trainer's home.
