Force-free training in the Flathead Valley

Terric Canines has been serving Kalispell and the Flathead Valley since January 2021 with positive, science-based training and behavior modification built on LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) techniques, teaching dogs without force or pain. Head trainer Tiffany Mason has been working with dogs for over 14 years and is a master certified dog trainer through C.A.T.C.H. Canine Trainer Academy, where she is now a mentor. She is also an AKC CGC Evaluator, a certified Pet Tech instructor and a member of Dog Gone Safe, the APDT and the Pet Professional Guild. Daily Inter Lake readers voted the business one of the Flathead's best dog trainers 4 years in a row.

Services and prices

Private lessons in the home or a public spot are $120/hr or $700 for 6 hours. Reactivity Therapy, an exposure approach for triggers such as dogs, people and cars, is $130/hr or $750 for 6 sessions. Board & Train in the trainer's home is $185/day, $1,200/wk or $4,000/mo. Play Camp is $200/day, and the 6-week Star Puppy Course and Basic Behavior Class are $240 each. AKC tests, from Star Puppy and CGC to Trick Dog titles, are $50 each, alongside PetSaver pet CPR classes and Sniffari outdoor outings.
