About Texoma Retrievers

What they offer

Texoma Retrievers, LLC in Geronimo describes itself as "Professional gun dog and hunt test dog trainers". Its Training Programs page lists a Puppy Head Start Program (beginning obedience, early socialization, crate training, simple land and water marks, and an introduction to birds), a Basics/Gun Dog Program (basic obedience, control commands, force fetch, steady to wing and shot, e-collar conditioning, decoy and blind training) and advanced Hunt Test/Field Trial programs.

Competition work

The kennel says it competes in UKC and AKC hunt tests and trains field trial competitors, and that most advanced programs need at least 3-4 months of training. The About Us page names Justin Jackson as owner and trainer, says he started Texoma Retrievers, LLC in 2010, and says he trains for and competes in all levels of UKC and AKC.

Before you book

Programs are priced by the month on the training page. Contact the kennel by phone or email to discuss your retriever's goals.
