Campers take field trips to practice obedience around real-world distractions.

Philosophy and background

The philosophy is "obedience, freedom, and play": obedience when it's needed, the freedom to be a dog, and play and other motivational methods to teach it. Des has worked as a protection sport decoy since 2011, is certified as a Level 2 Decoy under the North American Ring Association, and has competed nationally as a N.A.R.A. handler since 2013.
