About Trillium Training

Science-based training in Ririe

Trillium Training is a dog training and pet care business in Ririe run by Ramsey. She attended the Karen Pryor Academy in 2021, becoming a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (KPA-CTP), choosing the program for its modern, science-based training methods. Before that she worked in Dogtown at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, gaining experience with reactive, aggressive and feral dogs, and spent years training horses. She started Trillium Training in 2024.

Approach

The business brings humane training, daily enrichment and preventative management into training, behavior support and care, and says there is no one-size-fits-all approach. All training and behavior programs can be customized.

Programs

Getting Started covers discovery calls, evaluations and consultations. Strong Foundations works on loose leash walking, basic obedience and polite greetings. Puppy Academy supports new puppy owners. Canine Behavior Solutions addresses reactivity, resource guarding, extreme fear and aggression. Virtual Support offers coaching for people outside the service area. Boarding and daycare run from Ramsey's home with small numbers of dogs.
