About Venture Canine

What they offer

Venture Canine trains dogs of any size, breed and age. Its most popular program is a 5-week board and train for dogs of 5 months and older with problems such as leash pulling, jumping, over-excitement and barking, and a longer 6- to 12-week behavior modification program for dogs struggling with anxiety, reactivity, aggression and resource guarding. Puppy programs cover exposure and socialization, basic obedience, leash walking, crate training and potty training, and it offers overnights. Dogs stay in the house with their trainer and go on outdoor outings.

How they train

The site describes relationship-based, motivational training that builds engagement before layering on tools such as an e-collar for reliability on and off leash.
