Fear-free training at home

Wagamuffins offers fear-free, positive dog training in the comfort of your own home, serving Corvallis and nearby communities. Trainer Krysten has managed several dog daycares, trained as a veterinary assistant and completed a dog training apprenticeship with Cooper's Dog Training and Behavior Modification in Portland, where she trained individual dogs and led group classes.

Method

Lessons use positive reinforcement, which Krysten calls the gentlest and most effective training method, with gentle tactics such as time-outs only when appropriate. Her goal is to teach owners and dogs to communicate so they can build a happy friendship. She has worked with leash reactivity, unsocial behavior, resource guarding, high prey drive and puppy training.

Packages

Every package includes a free phone consultation before the first lesson. Three lessons are $240, five are $380 and ten are $720.
