About Wags & Woofs Academy (Formerly Wags With Mags)

A day school for dogs in Concord

Wags & Woofs Academy, formerly Wags With Mags, is located at 141 Old Turnpike Rd in Concord and calls itself "a collective of dog trainers doing daycare differently." Rather than a traditional daycare, it runs a Day School with periods for play, rest and learning, built on the view that constant stimulation can promote anxiety, hyperactivity, overarousal and reactivity.

Small groups led by trainers

Each day only 5 puppies and 5 adult dogs can reserve a spot, and a team of professional dog trainers oversees training outings, individual sessions, enrichment and small group play. Dogs are matched into pairs or small groups by size, age, temperament and play style, and calm adult mentor dogs are available for newcomers who are fearful or short on play skills. Play also includes group training exercises, relaxation training and structured enrichment.

What a session includes

Every session includes supervised play time, 1:1 training, group training and enrichment activities tailored to the dog. Sessions are booked through the PawPartner portal, which carries the current pricing.
