About Woodland Pet Resort

A Saginaw boarding and daycare facility that now runs training

Woodland Pet Resort is a pet care facility on Hospital Road in Saginaw, and it introduces itself in its own words: "Welcome to WOODLAND PET RESORT Where your four-legged loved one is 'top dog'." The home page sets out the range – "At our award-winning facility, we strive to give the best in pet care, so our main goal is making sure they are healthy and happy. We offer boarding, daycare, interactive activities, and grooming." One of the awards behind that phrase appears on the site's own imagery: a "Greatest of the Great Lakes Bay 2020" badge naming "WOODLAND PET RESORT (SAGINAW)" for "BEST DOGGY DAY CARE".

Training is the newest line

Dog training is a recent addition rather than the founding business, and the site announces it as news: "We are excited to announce that we are now offering K9 Training here at Woodland! Feel free to give us a call or check out our K9 Training page on our website here to learn more and book your spot today!" The training named on the home page is basics-level class work – the notice heading reads "Obedience Training and Puppy Classes: Sign Up Now Open!" A dedicated K9 Training page exists on the site; levels and pricing are best confirmed by phone.

Boarding, daycare and grooming

The care side is the longer-established half. Boarding is offered "For a weekend or an extended stay", and Daycare and Day Camp are described for owners "away at work or running errands" – "your dog can spend the day going for walks, snuggling up for cuddle time or playing with friends in Day Camp!" Grooming is in-house: "We provide professional grooming, bathing, and nail trimming."

Booking, hours and requirements

Everything is bookable online: "Boarding, Grooming, Daycare, Day Camp and K9 Training can now be booked online! Additionally, all Vaccine Records can now be submitted online via dropbox!" First-time clients are pointed at a vaccination and policy page – "Please visit the Requirements and Policies page for requirements" – and invited in person: "Come on in and bring your pet for a tour and to meet the staff." Published hours are "Monday-Friday: 9AM to 6PM", "Saturday: 9AM to NOON" and "Sunday: 4PM to 6PM", the address is "5123 Hospital Rd Saginaw, MI 48603", and the site lists both a call line, (989) 793-2882, and a text line, (989) 600-4950.
