What they offer

Woodlands Dog Kingdom provides customized, private, balanced training in a family home on a large fenced rural property in Woodland. Training is one-to-one and paced to the dog's response at each level, for new puppies needing basic obedience, dogs with behavior issues around other dogs or people, and dogs held back by fear and anxiety.

Board and train

Dogs stay in the family home during board and train programs, living alongside farm animals, family members and the resident pack as part of their social training, and the number of dogs in training at one time is kept small. The head trainer explains the program and the tools that may be used, which can include prong collar, e-collar, long line, crate, treats and place mats, sends regular feedback and gives written homework plans.

Owner lessons

Every program includes lessons for the owner, so new behaviors continue once the dog is home.
