About Woofies K-9 academy

What they offer

Woofies K-9 Academy is a locally owned training and boarding facility with its address in Calhan. Its balanced training program teaches obedience such as sit, stay, down, recall and loose-leash walking, and it also takes behavior modification cases, including excessive barking, separation anxiety, fearfulness and leash reactivity, and aggression cases assessed individually. Dogs enrolled in training can board so the work stays consistent, and graduates can use its day care.

How they train

The site describes balanced training with tools such as e-collars, prong collars and slip leads while leaning on positive reinforcement, and it offers a free online consultation.
