About Dog Training Now

A purpose-built training studio in Hoffman Estates

Dog Training Now states that it "opened in 2012" and that "We've trained over 5,000 dogs to be great members of their household!" The site is unusually specific about the facility: a 9,600 square foot studio, "completely remodeled in 2022," holding several large open training areas, smaller rooms for shy or distracted dogs, rest areas, a separate space for the youngest puppies, private lesson rooms and a retail store. Outside there is a fenced quarter-acre yard on a 1.15 acre property, including a swimming pool, and a private dog park is listed among the services.

Programs

The program menu is broad: Puppy Training Programs, Obedience Training Programs, a Day Training Camp, Board and Train boot camps, Potty Training Programs, Graduate Refresher Training for returning clients, and Therapy Dog Certification. The home page summarizes the offer as "Puppy Socialization, Potty Training, Day Training, and Board and Train Boot Camps." Owners can book a "completely free, no-strings" meeting with a trainer before committing, and the site runs its own customer account, service agreement and lesson scheduling tools online.

Method and credentials

The stated approach is deliberately non-prescriptive: "We don't have a one-size-fits-all approach, we train the dog in front of us!" Staff credentials are named at the organization level rather than per trainer — the site says the team holds "certifications from The Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, The American Kennel Club, as well as the Conifer Canine Dog Trainer College." A wait list is referenced on the home page, so availability is worth checking early.
