About Training, Walks & Petsits By Paula, LLC

One provider for training, walks and pet sitting

Training, Walks & Petsits by Paula LLC is described on its own site as a "one-stop shop" for a dog's daily care, run by Paula Mrazek. The header lists her as "CCDT Certified: Graduated with Distinction from CATCH Dog Trainers Academy" and an "Official Mentor Trainer for CATCH," and the site notes membership of the Cary-Grove Area Chamber of Commerce.

Training

Lessons are private and in the client's own home, described as 30-45 minutes, starting with a complimentary meet-and-greet and then meeting once a week. The published curriculum covers sit, down, stay, come, watch me, touch, leave it and drop it plus leash walking, and the site says non-aggressive unwanted behaviors – jumping, housebreaking, digging, chewing, puppy biting and counter surfing – are addressed with a behavior modification plan. Day training packages are offered for owners too busy to train alongside the trainer, finished with a transfer lesson.

Walks and pet sitting

Walks are 20 or 30 minutes, with Walk & Train outings named as the stated specialty. For pet sitting the site is explicit that overnight stays are not offered; instead three to four visits a day between 7am and 10pm. The business states it is fully bonded and insured, is a member of Pet Sitters International, and is certified in Pet CPR and First Aid.
