About Cherry Creek K9 Academy

Cherry Creek K9 Academy is a small Cookeville operation whose website says very little about training, and what it does say has to be read carefully.

What the site claims

The substance is about care rather than instruction: "For over 5 years, we have been serving the pets and families of our local area." The three panels on the home page are headed quality pet care, reliable and trustworthy caretakers, and satisfaction guaranteed, and the copy under them is about looking after a dog while the owner is away – "you can rely on us to care for your pets when you're away." The tagline is "We Make SIT Happen!", which is a slogan, not a description of a method.

The only training evidence published

It is in the photo-gallery captions, and it is real: "Nala showing off her down stay and leave it with many toy distractions and also being in a busy store." and "Diesel and Makenna holding a group stay together." and "Kong and Nala holding a group place." That describes obedience work under distraction, in public and in a group, which is more than the rest of the site manages.

What is unfinished

The FAQ section is still on its template defaults – the questions are numbered rather than written and each answer reads "Add an answer to this item." There is no program list, no price, no class schedule and no trainer named. Booking is by meet-and-greet appointment through the site or by phone.

Worth a call if you are near Cherry Creek Road, but expect to establish the program in conversation rather than on the page.
