About Take Flight Dog Training

Take Flight Dog Training is a Cookeville business that puts training, boarding and daycare under one roof, and its own site leads on the line "Where Family Pets and Working Dogs Learn to Soar."

Who they say they serve

The catchment they publish is wide for a rural metro: "We proudly serve Cookeville, Sparta, Crossville, Livingston, Algood, Lebanon, and the greater Nashville, TN area." The work they name splits between household pets and competition dogs, and they describe the range as running from "specialized puppy training, or advanced dog sports coaching".

What the site actually claims

Three claims are made on the home page and nowhere else on the site: an award, "Voted “Best Dog Trainer” in the Cookeville Hall of Fame three years in a row."; a blanket staff credential, "All team members hold credentials in canine first aid and CPR."; and "Highly Accomplished Sport Dog Teams" described as "Experienced competitors who’ve titled dogs to the highest levels in sport." They also carry the line "Certified Fear Free Boarding Specialists".

What is missing

The site is a single-page build. Its Services, About Us, Programs, Classes, Pricing and Training links all return the same home-page body, so there is no published program list, no prices, no named trainers and no class schedule to read. The only individual identified anywhere is the contact address jess@takeflightdogtraining.com. Anyone comparing programs will have to ask for the menu directly.
