Elite Paws K9 Training
Overview
About Elite Paws K9 Training
Elite Paws K9 Training works out of Westmoreland, under the line "Building Stronger Bonds, One Paw at a Time".
What they publish
The stated mission is to build the relationship the owner wants through effective communication – understanding what motivates the dog, whether that is food, play or exploration, learning about the dog's genetics, and using both to communicate more clearly.
How you start
Intake is the clearest thing on the site. A free phone consultation with the trainer, Cayla, is used to discuss options and check whether the fit is right; the site asks you to text to schedule it. For a more thorough assessment there is an in-home consultation at $50, where the trainer comes to you, meets the dog and discusses which program suits, and that $50 is credited against the deposit if you book. The site notes that some behaviors raised in the first conversation may require the in-home consultation, at the trainer's discretion.
Before you book
The site's menu lists services and prices, activities, boarding, a trainer page, training and FAQs; ask which programs run, how long they last and what they cost. Contact them directly for what they actually run.
