About Hi D Ho Dog Training

Hi-D-Ho Dog Training Inc. is a class-based training business in the New River Valley, run by a director the site names as Rosie Higdon. Its stated goal sits at the top of the page: "Helping your dog become a better canine citizen".

What is taught

The course list is published as a single line and covers more ground than most: "Puppy Kindergarten * Dog Obedience Training * Canine Good Citizen Preparation Obedience Competition Preparation * Dog Agility * Private Consultation and Training". The site also advertises a "Training Handlers to Handle" agility workshop and occasional lecture classes.

Where and when

Classes are advertised as being held in Christiansburg – the most recent schedule notice names a puppy kindergarten starting 16 July 2026 in Christiansburg, with beginner or novice obedience classes starting the day before. The business describes itself as "Offering dog training classes and services in New River Valley in Virginia and surrounding areas."

A note on the site

This is an old website that is still being updated – it carries a revision date in July 2026 alongside notices from 2008 and a COVID-era class cancellation that was never removed, so some of what it shows is long out of date. Contact is by phone or email to the director. The site also mentions a line of pet nutrition products, which is retail rather than training.
