About K9 & Company Retreat

What it is

K9 & Company Retreat describes itself as a training-based daycare, boarding and care facility. That framing is the point of difference: the site's own line for it is "care with intention" rather than chaos with supervision.

The model

The stated focus is on providing structure, calm leadership and a safe, supportive environment where dogs feel secure and understood. The mission as published is to create a more peaceful, connected experience for dogs and their people, with a structured, low-stress environment where dogs are cared for, guided and given space to settle, socialize and decompress at their own pace.

Services

The site lists daycare, day school, boarding, grooming, matchmaking, additional activities and training, with evaluations as the entry point.

Who it suits

The business addresses itself to owners raising a puppy, supporting an adult dog's development, or simply needing reliable care while away.

What owners say

Published reviews emphasize the comparison with other local facilities, attention from staff during longer boarding stays, and one account of two dogs that had never been able to share a room learning to settle together.

Practical details

The facility is on Ironbridge Road in North Chesterfield, with forms and testimonials published on the site.
