About Frolick Dogs

Services

Alongside gym memberships and day boarding, the club publishes "Obedience Training" and "Agility", and names three programs: "Dayboard-and-Train", "Private Lessons" and "Puppy 101". Group classes cover "agility, tricks, rally, nose work and more".

The facility

Described as "a canine sports club opened June 2014 in Alexandria, VA", the building at 3208 Colvin St "provides 4800 square feet of dog-friendly space including an agility ring and a sun-lit mezzanine for our day boarding dogs to enjoy". Members can drop in year-round to use canine treadmills, balance equipment and the agility course.

Who runs it

"This family-owned and operated business is run by a husband-and-wife team" – Kevin Gilliam, listed as "Co-Owner & Lead Obedience Trainer, CGC Evaluator", and Kim Gilliam. Kevin's page notes he trained for eight years at the Olde Towne School for Dogs in Alexandria before starting Frolick Dogs.
