About Free Rein Dog Training LLC

Free Rein Dog Training is based in Belmont and states its aim as building confidence in the owner as much as the dog: "Free Rein is a business dedicated to not only training dogs & building their confidence, but building YOURS, too."

Programs

Two published tracks. The obedience and off-leash program covers basic commands – sit, stay and come – for dogs of all ages and breeds and extends to off-leash work. The behavioral program is for dogs struggling with aggression, anxiety or fear, and the site also names bad manners, leash pulling, food snatching, reactivity and incessant barking as what owners come to it with. Formats range from online lessons at puppy, basic, advanced and expert levels through to multiple board and train packages chosen by the household's needs, and a puppy boarding school is published. Payment arrangements are offered on all packages, and the first step is a virtual meet and greet booked on the site.

Afterward

The business runs a space for graduates and current clients to come together for extra exercises, training around distractions and playtime – a continuing-practice group rather than a single graduation.
